Hospiscare Heroes - From Football to Fancy Cakes!

This week's Hospiscare Heroes have been very busy indeed! Read on to find out what they've been up to!

Kick Off For Kim in the Sunshine

A huge thank you this week goes to Kate Collett-Hughes and her friends and family for organising the fantastic 'Kick off for Kim'. The event raised an amazing £3,103. Thanks to everyone involved and to all of 'Kimbo's Army', who continue to raise money in memory of Kate's cousin Kim.

Thanks also to BCR Associates who held a coffee morning which raised £167. The cake in the photo took one of their staff members three WEEKS to bake. The level of detail is astonishing, including cucumber sandwiches, sugar bowls, a vase with flowers and knives and forks, all edible!

Thanks also to Kim Ingersent, who visited with Grace, Alphie, Lottie and Lillie. The children held a charity stall at their school to raise money in memory of their Nan, Linda.

Fundraising for Hospiscare

A massive thank you also goes to Marks & Spencer, Exeter for having us as their Charity of the Year and raising an outstanding £8,986!

A big thank you also to Ernest Jackson, who have chosen Hospiscare as their Charity of the Year. Last week a group of 15 volunteers visited Searle House to help refresh our garden, and they made a huge difference sanding down benches, painting and jetwashing things!
