It is said that adversity is the mother of invention, so maybe it’s time to get creative?

a) Why not fill up a flask and meet friends for a socially distanced walk, stop midway for a lovely slice of cake and a cuppa.

b) You could arrange a Coffee Morning takeaway. Some might call this a Cake Sale but we don’t mind what you call it.

c) Doorstep deliveries are a lovely way to delight friends and neighbours. Maybe take orders from those wishing to surprise a loved one with a cake – what a treat.

Will your Coffee Morning really make a difference?

Yes! Last year, people across Exeter, Mid and East Devon held coffee mornings in their homes and workplaces and together raised an incredible amount of money for our charity. This year, Hospiscare needs your support more than ever to keep providing specialist care during these unprecedented times.

  • £32

would pay for a patient's dressings for a day

  • £51

would pay for a home visit from one of our specialist nurses

  • £216

would pay for a nurse's shift on the ward
