Huge thanks this week go to Caroline and Tim Harlow, who cycled Land’s End to John O’Groats. They took an even longer than normal route via North Cornwall, Wells, Welsh Marches, Lake District and then Outer Hebrides, back to Ullapool and then to John O’Groats - a whopping 1066 miles in total!
They have very generously donated £1066 (a pound for every mile) to Hospiscare!
Thanks also go to Bridge House in Dawlish, where the staff and guests of RCH opened their garden and served tea and cake on 15th June. They sold out of plants and cakes and raised a fantastic £707.39
A big thank you also goes to the students on the E2E course at Petroc College, Tiverton, who have run many events, and taken part in volunteering for Hospiscare over the last year and raised a total of £605.
Huge thanks also to Mountain Warehouse in Exmouth who are selling five different bag designs as part of their 'Grab Some Cash for Local Causes' campaign. We are delighted that they have chosen Hospiscare as their charity to support, and 100% of the profits from the bags will be donated.
And of course a huge thank you goes to Shane and everyone who took part in the Ride for Hospiscare event, where they cycled around Devon visiting every one of Hospiscare's sites, including the 21 shops! Here are some photos from the day:
We love seeing all that you do for Hospiscare so, if you are planning on doing any fundraising, please direct message us on Facebook or email firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can recognise your efforts. We couldn’t do what we do without you.
