Hospiscare Wild Tri Heroes

Our first ever Wild Tri would not have been so successful if it weren't for our amazing supporters!

Here at Hospiscare, we are extremely grateful to all of our supporters and we love to see the innovative ways that our Hospiscare Heroes find to fundraise for us! This week we are sending out an extra special thank you to all of the Heroes who took part in and supported our first ever Wild Tri and Wild Tri Extreme.

We would like to send a huge thank you to our main sponsor, Kitsons. Without their support, this event would not have been possible.

Thank you also to Climb South WestDave Talbot Adventures and OCRA who helped to organise and design the event.

A massive thank you to all of the volunteers who gave up their Saturday to make sure that the event ran smoothly. Our volunteer marshals not only ensured the safety of our participants, they were also there to offer smiles and encouragement throughout the course. Their part was hugely appreciated on the day and after the event as participants took to social media to praise their efforts, with one Wild Tri-er commenting:

“What a great event. Awesome weather, awesome scenery, awesome cause! A huge thank you to the organisers, volunteers, marshals and supporters. Big smiles at every turn, every checkpoint. Will be back for next year, for sure!”

Thank you also to our photographers, Ben Cole, Mike Powell and Shaun Pickett, who captured the event beautifully. We are so grateful to have these fantastic images to remember and celebrate this wonderful event. A huge congratulations must also go to Ben, Mike and Shaun as in order to capture these moments, they had to complete most of the Wild Tri course!

This event could not have happened without all of our fantastic participants who ran, scrambled and cycled to raise awareness and much-needed funds for our charity. This thank you goes out to over one hundred Heroes who gave their time (and energy!) to take part in our first ever Wild Tri and Wild Tri Extreme. We hope to see you next year!
