Blackbury Honey Farm, Colyton – Open Garden

Why not visit this beautiful garden and support Hospiscare?

A garden to encourage pollinators. Exuberantly planted with a mixture of shrubs, annuals and perennials, roses and herbs. Long borders and beds planted in mixed cottage garden style, including apple, pear and plum orchards, peaches and apricots against the barn. A new herb garden has been made this year with hexagonal-shaped beds and an ornamental beehive at its centre.  There is a wildflower meadow of around 20 acres with paths mown through it, and a glimpse of the honeybees in their enclosure at the centre.  Traditional vegetable garden in preparation and a large poly tunnel growing salads, vegetables and herbs
