100 Miles in May is a virtual challenge to complete 100 miles in any way, under your own steam, to raise money for Hospiscare. Set your own pace and routes to complete your 100 miles however you please. We hope participants will also use the challenge to improve their fitness and mental wellbeing - How do I take part?
Sign up at www.hospiscare.co.uk/100miles and then simply complete the miles at your own pace and in your own way throughout May. You could choose to walk or run a few miles every day, cycle, swim, roll, row or a combination of anything under your own steam – the possibilities are endless! - Is there a registration fee?
Yes, £10 for adults and £5 for children - When is the challenge?
We’re asking participants to complete their 100 miles between the 1st and 31st of May 2024 - Is there an age limit for 100 Miles in May?
The event is open to participants of all ages, however children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult and all participants must agree to the event Terms and Conditions. Hospiscare do not take responsibility for the safety of participants, and you undertake the challenge at your own risk - Is there a minimum fundraising amount?
We hope each participant will support Hospiscare and fundraise a minimum of £60 in sponsorship. By raising just £60, you could help fund two hours of expert care on our specialist ward. If you prefer not to raise sponsorship, you can always make a donation when you sign up, or donate via our website: www.hospiscare.co.uk/donate All donations are gratefully received! - When will I receive my medal?
Once the challenge is completed, we’ll be sending out medals in early June to everyone that has fundraised or donated
