A huge thank you this week goes to Sarah and Richard Jennings who organised a wonderful evening, “A Bit of a Do” at the Gipsy Hill Hotel. Everybody got to dress up and enjoy a relaxed and sociable dinner dance in aid of Hospiscare, and the event raised an incredible £3120 for Hospiscare.
A massive thank you also goes to Roger and Miranda who opened their lovely garden in Crediton in early June. They made delicious teas for their visitors and had an art display for visitors to enjoy as well as their lovely garden. Their Open Garden made an incredible £1944.01 for Hospiscare.
Thanks also to Jessica and Matt, who organised a garden party at their beautiful garden in St Leonards. Brilliantly supported by the Exeter Friends of Hospiscare they sold cream teas and cakes, had childrens games, tombola, raffle and craft stalls as well as a visit by Judi Spiers.
Having had a fantastic day last year, the 2019 garden opening was a record breaker raising an incredible £3330 for Hospiscare with more still to come in. A huge thank you to everybody who has opened their garden so far this season and fingers crossed for a sunny weekend for those still to open.
