The current roof on our warehouse is in very poor condition. This is making our yearly maintenance costs quite expensive. Once completed the maintenance costs will reduce considerably. The work environment will also be significantly improved for our hard working volunteers with better heat retention and more natural lighting.
Work will commence on 3rd September and take approximately 12 weeks to complete.
During this time we will continue to accept donations as these raise such vital funds for our charity. We may however, on rare occasions, need to decline large donations, especially furniture. This is due to a 25% reduction of our storage facility.

The good news is we will remain open for you to continue to purchase items. Although you will notice a reduction to our retail space we do hope to keep this to a minimum where possible. Please do ask a member of staff for assistance if you can’t see what you want on display.
The cost for replacing the roof is being covered by the landlord – so you can be assured the funds raised from your generous donations and purchases will continue to support our patients and their families.
