A big thank you also to Okehampton Hockey Club members who ran the Bideford Half Marathon and the Okehampton Round Table who supported us with their Santa Float; together they have raised an incredible £660 in memory of Jennifer Bourne.

Tea and cake

Thanks also to the residents of Isabel Court, who have raised over £800 for Hospiscare over the last 12 months, largely at their regular weekly short mat bowls evenings.  Hospiscare Fundraiser, Susie, was invited to a fabulous afternoon tea where she presented medals to the bowlers and the trophy to the winning team.  Isabel Court are generously continuing to support Hospiscare for the coming year; good luck to the bowlers for next 12 months of competition!

A big thank you also goes to Katie Brownridge, who held an exhibition of landscape photos taken by her late husband Richard, who was cared for by Hospiscare.  As a memorial to him and a thank you to Hospiscare, Katie has kindly donated one of his lovely photos “Hail Storm” to Hospiscare so that it can be enjoyed by patients and their families.
