A huge thank you to everyone involved in the Christmas Fayre at Kings House Day Hospice, Honiton on the 18th November. The fayre raised a huge amount of money £1305.33 (and monies are still coming in). The much needed funds will help towards the daily costs of running of the Kings House Day Hospice. It was well attended and a lovely atmosphere, with local crafts , produce and gifts for sale.
Special thanks must go to all the volunteers/supporters who worked very hard to make this event happen.
Kings House Day Hospice gives our patients an opportunity to find mutual support and friendship with other people who are in a similar situation.
Thanks to everyone involved in putting up the Light Up A Life Christmas Remembrance Tree on Cathedral Green.
We could not get this done without the generosity of a number of local businesses giving their time for free.
A massive thank you to Paul and Ben Lowman, who trekked to Everest Base Camp in November to raise money for Hospiscare. So far they have raised a fantastic £1,125. You can support their efforts here.
A huge thank you to Wendy Markham and the Budleigh Art Group, who have created and sold calendars for us for 2018. So far this has raised around £600.
And a big thank you also goes to Stalite Signs who have kindly agreed for a second year to produce all our flagship events promo materials (car magnets, banners and corex boards) for free!
We love seeing all that you do for Hospiscare so, if you are planning on doing any fundraising, please direct message us on Facebook or email firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can recognise your efforts. We couldn’t do what we do without you.
