Hospiscare Heroes' Heroic Efforts

-A massive thank you to Paul Hawkins who completed an endurance test each month in 2016 for Hospiscare. These ranged from running to kayaking, with the odd half-marathon thrown in for good measure! (

So far he has raised an amazing £1958.13 (including gift aid) for Hospiscare. Paul will be walking the Devon Coast to Coast Trail from Plymouth to Lynton in August. (

-A huge thank you to the Wyndham Singers who have raised over £15000 in the last 2 years and have been great ambassadors for Hospiscare. Their most recent donation was an incredible £5015.

They will be performing in a Three Choir Concert for us at St David’s Church on Saturday 25th March, 7pm. Tickets are £10, or £15 for two. Please show your support if you can and come along for what promises to be a brilliant night of entertainment.

-Celidh band, Spinach for Norman, held a Celidh at the Phoenix Centre in February, in memory of Martin Hodge and raised £175 for Hospiscare. Martin was a well-loved figure in the Exeter community and had previously been the caller for the band. Hospiscare was one of his favourite charities and Spinach for Norman were pleased to be able to donate the proceeds from the evening in his memory.

-Some Exeter School pupils held a cake sale for Hospiscare which raised £260. Thank you for all your efforts.
