Dave and Ros Hancock hosted their final coffee morning on December the 3rd after 13 years of fundraising. In that time they have raised over £36,000 for Hospiscare, which is just astounding.
They began their years of tireless effort because their friend Sylvia Davey was diagnosed with cancer and wanted to help by organizing an event for Hospiscare. Heartbreakingly Sylvia died before the event but the Hancock’s wanted to continue to raise money in her memory. Over the years they then continued to hold Coffee mornings for Easter, summer and Christmas.
A huge thank you from everyone associated with these coffee mornings for your years of effort. You have touched more families and lives than you will ever fully appreciate.
