Situated on the Exeter Ship Canal, you cannot beat the Double Locks pub for its location! The Men’s Walk at Double Locks unsurprisingly starts and finishes at Double Locks, meaning you get to enjoy the stunning surroundings. The address is Double Locks, Canal Banks, Exeter EX2 6LT.

Please plan how you’re going to get to the Men’s Walk: Original at Double Locks event for 2 reasons:

2. Marsh Barton Train Station is now open to the public and is the best way to get to Double Locks if you’re travelling across Exeter or travelling into Exeter. For live departure, arrival times and to buy tickets please visit: https://www.nationalrail.co.uk/stations/marsh-barton/

We recommend that you wear comfortable trainers or walking shoes and appropriate clothes for the weather on the day you are walking – layers are good so you can adapt your clothing to any changes in the weather. Please make sure that whatever footwear you decide to walk in are well worn in.

Please bring a refillable hydrating drink / bottle, such as water to take on your walk. We also suggest you carry a fully charged mobile phone in case of emergency.

Although they are not mandatory, you may like to bring your own facemask and bottle of hand sanitiser.
