If you’re a healthcare professional in a support role looking for the next step in your career, this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for!
You will undertake a structured programme, combining academic study with work-based learning in the physical, psychological and public health aspects of care, from pre-conception to end of life. Based in Hospiscare’s 12-bedded Inpatient Unit at Searle House in Exeter, over a period of two years you will do placements in Hospiscare’s community services and across various other organisations, giving you a wide range of healthcare experience.
Following successful completion of the programme, you will be eligible to apply for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, and will work as a Nursing Associate alongside existing nursing support staff and fully-qualified Registered Nurses at Hospiscare.
You must have the commitment and self-motivation to complete the two year programme, and the academic ability to study at the required level. In return you will be working for a clinical employer of choice in the region, and will receive a competitive salary and numerous employee benefits including free parking at Searle House.
