HR Administrator (Kickstarter role)

This is a six month, 25 hours per week position for people aged 16-24 who are looking to start a career in HR, as part of the government's Kickstart initiative

This vacancy is part of the current Kickstart initiative which aims to provide job opportunities to young people aged 16-24 who are receiving Universal Credit. If you are a school leaver or graduate looking to gain experience in charity administration or HR, then this is a fantastic opportunity to join a small and committed team and make your mark at an outstanding local charity.  The successful candidate will assist with maintaining  our electronic HR systems, liaise with staff across the organisation, support recruitment processes and collaborate with colleagues in our Volunteering team.

You will be educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) including maths and English and have IT skills including experience with MS Office Suite. Administrative experience and experience with databases and data input / reporting is beneficial.

Please note: Due to the nature of this position, it is open solely to applicants aged 16-24 years who are receiving Universal Credit.

  • Terms: 25 hours per week, to be worked over 4 or 5 days Monday to Friday.
