Fantastic opportunity to join Hospiscare as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in our wonderful Mid Devon Community Team, based in Crediton!
- Hospiscare Band 6: £31,009–£37,749 pa pro rata
- 22.5 – 37.5 hours/week, 3 – 5 days over 7 including on call
You will work alongside Registered Nurses and Health Care Assistants, collaborating in the delivery of an excellent standard of evidence based specialist palliative nursing care and clinical advice for adults registered with a GP across Mid Devon. You will manage a patient caseload, offer expert advice and intervention, and liaise effectively with local GPs and Community Nurses in order to contribute to Hospiscare’s provision of holistic care.
You will have substantial experience of working within a palliative care/end of life environment and detailed understanding of the complexities of working with individuals at times of distress and conflict. Your highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work as part of a team, prioritising your own workload and managing your time effectively are also important in the role.
The role involves travel within the community setting and participating in the seven day service provision to include on call.
