Wonderful opportunity to join Hospiscare as Bereavement Lead for our Supportive Care team, based at Searle House in Exeter

As Hospiscare’s Bereavement Lead, you will co-ordinate and lead on the delivery of the charity’s evidence based grief and bereavement service for patients and those close to them.  You will also provide professional supervision for our team of volunteer listeners and bereavement counsellors.

You will act as a specialist resource, planning and setting up bereavement groups, and contributing to the continuing development of Hospiscare’s bereavement service, working alongside the wider Supportive Care team and clinical colleagues throughout the organisation.

Professionally qualified, with a Degree or Diploma in Counselling or a related discipline, you will also have substantial experience of working within a palliative care/end of life environment, and of managing a large complex caseload.
