We apologise that our Day Hospice services are currently suspended at all sites as a precaution to protect our patients, staff and volunteers. Our community team remain able to support patients remotely and at home – please contact your Hospiscare nurse contact if you have any questions or concerns.
Our day hospices give you the chance to connect with other people in a similar situation, try new things and get specialist advice.
Every session is different and there’s never any pressure to join in with activities if you don’t want to. Some people just come for the cake and company. You can find out more about our day hospices here.
We have day hospices in Exeter, Honiton and Tiverton. If you want to request a place, please ask a member of your Hospiscare team for more details. Space is limited, so you’ll be invited in for a chat to make sure this is the right time for you to attend.
We also run a range of other activities for our patients and their families and friends, including drop-in-sessions that don’t need to be booked. Maybe you’d like to come along to film night or seated yoga?
“I’m very happy with the care that I received in the day hospice. We have a lot of fun and spend most of the day laughing.”
