Hospiscare’s will-writing service

Hospiscare’s will-writing service

Is it time to write your Will? Our will-writing service allows you to take this vital step with the support of a local solicitor, while supporting your local hospice charity.

We’ve partnered with local legal professionals to offer a will-writing service. We really appreciate our partner solicitors support for Hospiscare.

When you have completed your Will,  you can donate their usual fee for writing a standard single or joint Will to Hospiscare.  Your chosen solicitor will organize this with you.

In an initial meeting with your selected partner, you’ll explain what you would like in your Will and your legal professional will explain the next steps and advise if any additional specialist advice is needed. To prepare for this meeting, we suggest following these steps and you’ll also need to provide Hospiscare’s address and our charity number (see below).

Your legal professional will advise what they would usually charge for making a Will and you can make your donation to Hospiscare by filling out a form from the solicitor, by selecting ‘Will Writing Scheme’ and donating on our website or by sending us a cheque payable to Hospiscare.

We also hold 30 minute clinics where you can get free advice before planning your affairs. Contact us on 01392 688020 for details of upcoming dates.

Our address: Hospiscare, Searle House, Dryden Road, Exeter, EX2 5JJ

Our Registered Charity Number: 297798

Hospiscare is partnered with The Good Will Partnership who are able to offer home visits and video calls, to arrange your Will.  If you would like the convenience of a Will Counsellor visiting you at home, the Good Will Partnership can arrange this for you, just click here to book your consultation with them.  You are not under any obligation to Hospiscare by using this service.

Discover the power of a gift in your Will

“I recently updated my Will and, like many people, gave a lot of thought to how to divide my estate. One thing that needed no thought was a legacy to Hospiscare. By leaving a legacy to Hospiscare, I can be sure that this first class service will continue long after I die.”
