Bereavement Alliance

Community COVID-19 bereavement support in Exeter, Mid and East Devon

The Bereavement Alliance is a collaboration of Hospices in the South West and Marie Curie to help individuals and families to find local bereavement support after a person has died from COVID-19.

Hospiscare is acting as the single point of access referral hub for professionals from the Exeter Nightingale Hospital. Furthermore, many of the hospices in the Bereavement Alliance are offering additional support in their localities. The members of the Alliance meet regularly  to share learning and best practice. As a collective, we recognise that every death is tragic and that no two people are alike in how they will experience grief: people will find the support they need in different ways.
