Raising funds at The Breakfast Run

Make every step of your run count, by ensuring you have maximum sponsorship in place! All funds raised will support Hospiscare's day hospice in Tiverton and services throughout Mid Devon. You will be helping local families at the time when they need it most.

Runners at the Breakfast Run

The quickest way to get started with your fundraising for Hospiscare is to set up an online sponsorship page You can then send details to friends, family and colleagues and ask them to donate. Simply set-up your page by visiting www.everydayhero.co.uk/event/thebreakfastrun

Download a sponsorship form to print out, or ask for a paper sponsorship form by emailing fundraising@hospiscare.co.uk or call 01392 688020.

You don’t have to rely on sponsorship from friends and family, instead why not hold some simple fundraising events to give them something back for their cash – here our top suggestions:

Have Your Cake and Eat it Too: Encourage family/work colleagues to bake cakes and hold a sale at your place of work.

Dress down day: Ask your employer to agree to a ‘Jeans Day’, get your colleagues to pay for the privilege and enjoy some comfortable fundraising.  Bonus points if you can get it to be a pyjama day!

Give it up: Get sponsored to give up something that you always do for a week, fortnight or month. Smoking, chocolate, crisps, beer/wine, taking the lift, driving to work - the choice is up to you!

Breakfast Club: Host your own breakfast club one Sunday morning. Invite your friends, charge an entry fee, fill their bellies with a delicious breakfast and the proceeds boost your sponsorship.

Change Lives: Why not keep it simple? Of the 22 billion coins in circulation, around 13 billion of them are lost. Check your hand-bags and down the side of the sofa!  We can send you a change box to pop them in.
