The quickest way to get started with your fundraising is to set up an online sponsorship page that you can send round to friends, family and colleagues via social media and email to donate. Simply set-up your page by CLICKING HERE.

You can download here either a general Men's Walk sponsor form or a more personal 'in-memory' sponsorship form here. Alternatively you can request a hard copy by either emailing or calling into the fundraising office on 01392 688020.

You don’t have to rely on sponsorship from friends and family, why not think of some simple fundraisers to give them something back for their cash – here’s our top suggestions:

  1. Invite the boys round to watch the rugby at your house – provide some beer and snacks and charge them £xx each.
  1. Run a sweepstake on what your finishing time will be and ask everyone to give you £5 and donate some wine or beer as the prize.
  2. Give it up: Get sponsored to do something you always do… a sponsored silence, a fortnight of avoiding the lift and only using the stiars, or anything that will challenge you!
  3. Ask all your family and colleagues to bake cakes and bring them into work and sell them off.
  4. Hold a 50:50 raffle. Sell raffle tickets and there is only one prize – half the money taken. The remaining 50% goes in your Hospiscare 'pot'.
  5. Car Boot Sale. Declutter the house and we`ll leave it up-to you as to how much of the takings you donate.

How your money helps…

Every £1 you raise is of huge support to the hospice and all our care to terminally ill patients and families in the community of Exeter, Mid & East Devon. We look after people through our in- patient unit in Exeter, our day therapy services in Exeter, Tiverton and Honiton, at the RD&E hospital and our 28 specialist nurses who visit people in their own homes & care homes.

Thank you for all you raise for Hospiscare.
