Breach

A mature garden with purple flowering shrubs

The garden is set in 3 acres with majestic trees underplanted in some areas with rhododendrons, camellia and hydrangeas.  A rose garden, flower beds and a pond near the house give pleasure for many months of the year.  There are natural springs and the bog garden with its pond which has been extended and newly planted during 2018/2019.  There is an extensive collection of mature shrubs (some unusual) with new varieties added in recent years and many specimen trees.  Additional planting is selected with bees, butterflies etc. in mind and it is hoped that wild orchids can be encouraged to re-colonise a flower meadow being developed on the old tennis court.  Shrubberies, herbaceous borders, a small vegetable garden and orchard, and several wild areas complete the picture. There will also be a plant stall to browse!
