Dementia is common, as there are currently 750,000 people with confirmed dementia and probably as many not yet diagnosed. It will become even more common as numbers are set to double in the next thirty years. Dementia is also now one of the top ten causes of death in the UK.
This study day aims to provide those responsible for the care of people with dementia with both a sound medical and social understanding of what it means to have dementia.
This session will cover :

· Treating Pain in Patients with Dementia
· Depression & Delirium in People with Dementia.
· Person Centred Care for People with Dementia.
