We are looking for someone with good commercial awareness and a real interest in Retail to join our shop team in the centre of Exeter. The successful candidate will actively support the Shop Manager in maximising income and profitability by utilising excellent customer service skills which help to convert browsers into buyers.

This is a great opportunity for someone wishing to start or progress a career in Retail with a highly respected local charity where every penny counts and you can make a real difference.

The role is varied, including working on the till and on the shop floor with a range of stock items including furniture, helping in the stockroom or sorting donations, so you must be flexible and enjoy being hands on and active if you wish to be considered for the job.  We will also expect you to be a great team member, working alongside, motivating and supporting colleagues including volunteers.

A positive can-do approach is essential for the role, as is competency in IT (including using MS Office Word, email and internet) and numeracy.

So, if you are looking for a challenging retail role, and think you’ve got what we’re looking for, please apply now!
