Facilities and activities
Our three day centres offer a range of services that patients may find difficult at home.
Bathing
A specially adapted bath is available. Soap, shampoo and towels are provided.
Crafts
An extensive range of crafts and activities are available at our three sites, with coordinators to help with activities.
Seating
We have comfortable seating and reclining chairs, as well as trained staff and volunteers who can help more imobile patients.
Chaplaincy
Services are held regularly by Hospiscare’s chaplain, who is also there to talk about spirituality, for those of any faith or none.
Haircare
Haircare services are available most mornings, as well as manicure and handcare.
Meals
We can cater for all diets as food is prepared on the premises.
Complementary therapies
Qualified therapists provide massage, aromatherapy and reflexology.
