Shopping and donating
Sidmouth shop is a small but bright and lively shop in the heart of the town. We are very close to the seafront and are a target for holiday makers and day trippers from coaches. Folk Week also brings in many visitors. We get many lovely comments from customers saying we are the best charity shop in town because the staff are so nice and our prices are so reasonable.
We like to contribute to town events and have won a silver cup for the best decorated window for Remembrance Day.
We have great support from the local population and receive a variety of bric-a-brac and clothing. We usually have a good selection of books many of which are quite old and, therefore, collector’s items. We also sell a selection of new goods and, of course, the Hospiscare lottery.
All the shop profits help us to support the local residents and the Hospiscare nurses.
Parking
We have both front and rear access where people may park to unload and bring in their donations. We are always ready to assist or lend a friendly ear.
